| Why you first choose Akuna Care? |

We first decided to put Annie in a kennel, we visited all local kennels unannounced. We found Akuna Care clean with large grass runs, in contrast to the usual concrete runs.

| Why you continued to use our service? |
|
The variety of care packages catering for individual dog types is great. Annie is active so the bush walks allow her to expend some energy. While the treats help to satisfy her insatiable hunger. Annie is always happy to see Marcus and Ariel and content to be left for her holiday.

| What is your favourite Annie story? |
Annie is a lab/cross and came into our life in Nov 2001. In June that year we had to put down a lab/cross who had been part of our family for 14 years. This created a large void until a vocal vet Sue, advised us of a gold female lab/cross who had been found wondering the streets of cessnock. Annie was approximately 9 months old, absolutely fifthly and weighed barely 17 kgs. The day we brought her home from the pound was the day she was due to be put down.
The name Annie seemed to suit, as she was an orphan in our mind. For the first week she lay down to eat with her paws wrapped around her bowl and her tail wagging. Now she sits and waits for her food with her front paws "marching" up and down and her tail wagging.
Annie is now an active and happy 27kg member of the family. It would have been a shame to be put down before experiencing some kindness in her life.
Life with Annie is never dull and always seems to bring a smile to ones face.
