Why you first choose Akuna Care?

I liked the attitude of the people I spoke to at Akuna - They obviously love animals and understand their little quirks. It made me feel as if he was going somewhere he would be well looked after. I found you via our vet and then checked out your website.
I also wanted buddy to have individual accommodation.

Why you continued to use our service?

The pick up and delivery service was fantastic as are the facilities there. Buddy loved his hotel room.
He has been to other kennels before but he has never come home so healthy and happy. Normaly he has lost his voice from barking and crying all the time wondering where we had gone. With Akuna his voice was just fine.
We are delighted with Akuna and will always use them in the future and have already recommended to many friends.

CAPTAIN BUDDY - The Jack Russell

Buddy worries about his family while they are in the giant bath called the pool, so he took to trying to drink up all the water in the pool, but one day he drank so much water it caused an incontinence problem for him.
But not to be defeated he found another way to look after us: Our children used to take a blow up boat into the pool. Buddy saw that as a solution to his problem. One day when the boat was on the side of the pool he jumped into it. He put his front paws onto the bow and he was the captain and now he could be near his people and look after them as he floated happily around the pool.
Eventually the boat got a hole. Not to be deterred Buddy took to the body board.
So now he is a regular in the pool on his body board manoeuvring it by leaning on it one way or the other to get where he wants and when he thinks it's time to get out as well he will stand on the edge and bark at us until we get the message.
