| Why you first choose Akuna Care? |
|
Our first dog Zac came to visit Akuna about 9-10 years ago. We'd rather have her out in the country with space to run around then locked in a cage in the city vet/kennels.

| Why you continued to use our service? |
Pick up and delivery, reasonable fees. She seemed to come back happy and not traumatised by her stay away. Given that she's an inside dog and a "Mummy's girl", that's pretty good.
What I didn't like it that she now needs to go on a diet. She obviously didn't stress and go off her food.

| What is your favourite story? |
We had friends around one night for a bbq. The four steaks were on the kitchen bench thawing out while we were in the lounge having a pre-dinner drink or two.
After a while a little head slowly stuck itself around the door frame. There was a very sheepish looking Zac with a steak in his mouth.
We checked the kitchen bench to find that the other three steaks were already in his tummy.
We often like to find B&s;B's that allow dogs so that we can all have a holiday together. We found one on a hobby farm on the south coast. This was Caddy's first trip to the country. Zac was an old hand.
Within half an hour of us arriving she'd been kicked on the face by a miniature horse.
The next day we were in a fenced area where the miniature horses were so the dogs were on leads. As we were trying to move behind the horses to get out of the paddock, Zac got too close to the electric fence and got zapped. Caddy was the closest being to him and got the blame for 'attacking' him!
