Why you first choose Akuna Care?

We asked our vet to recommend a kennel and we called the RSPCA at Ellermore Vale as well. Both advised us to use Akuna Care Kennels.

Why you continued to use our service?

We are happy with the love and care that Cathy receives each time she visits Akuna Care.
We are confident of this because we witness the way Cathy greets Marcus when he picks her up at home. She sees the van through the window, meets him at the door, jumps all over him and tries to put the lead on her self and then waits at the front door for us to finish talking. On arriving home we get a quick hello and then she's back to Marcus for more cuddles.

What is your favourite Cathy story?

Cathy is two and a half years old. Our daughter adopted her from the RSPCA in Queensland where she had been classed as a black tag (cruelty case). There had been 15 in the litter but by the time the RSPCA stepped in and took them away they were only able to save 5 for adoption. Cathy then went through 7 months of loving and training so she would be ready to face the world.
When our daughter had to go overseas for work, Cathy moved to Newcastle with us. She is extremely affectionate and adores attention with lots of cuddles and kisses. She spends most of her time on a bed but loves to go walking around the neighbourhood (doesn't like the muzzle though). She also loves a game of soccer in the back yard with her giant tennis ball and chasing squeaky toys.
