Jemma had a twin brother Jake and when they first were boarded into kennels they both became very sick with kennel cough (even though they had their injections) and very sad when we lost Jake with cancer we decided poor Jemma needed a new kennel care looked up. The Internet - found Akuna - we visited and what a wonderful caring place. Never again do we have to think of anywhere else!

| Why you continued to use our service? |

Jemma just loves Marcus - She really is not very good with men (having been raised with females) but on the occasion that Marcus picks her up from home the tail wags and she is eager to go. I just love how she comes home happy and well - "full of beans". She obviously gets just as spoilt at Akuna as she does at home. The convenience of door to door pickup and delivery back again is just wonderful and when we go away we never have to worry about our girl again.

| What is your favourite Jemma story? |
Our Jemma came home with us at 6 weeks with her twin brother Jake. Boarder collie/cross kelpie the breed both working dogs - but not third pair. We lost our Jake to cancer but Jemma is now our loyal friend lazy to boot. Loves just lying around in the sun playing ball occasionally but her favorite pastime is barking. Oh by the way sleeps beside the bed every night.
Now I challenge any doggie out there to beat this one. Our Jemma looks every day up to the shy to see if any of the planes that fly over are sign writing and if so - our girl lets the neighbourhood know with her barking madly. Now Dr Harry can you fix that one!!
We wouldn't change her, for anything - she is just a lovable, loyal companion. (So glad she wasn't a working dog on the land because the sheep would be running a muck).
