| Why you first choose Akuna Care? |
I was recommended by a lady I met whilst walking Jerry. Her two boxers had stayed with Akuna Care many times and she was very happy with the care they received.

The door to door pick up service is convenient and having now seen Akuna Cares facilities we feel sure that Jerry is happy there.

| What is your favourite Jerry story? |
Jerry's predecessor, another German Short Haired Pointer named Minthorne, like jerry was always trying to escape out the back garden. One day when we all arrived home from work we realised he had gone. We trawled the district; put adds in the paper, went to the dog pound and all over Sydney to sightings of German Short Haired Pointers. All with no luck.
We gave up, put the leads and bowls away and gave the cans of food to a friend.
Six weeks later - the night of Halloween someone said at dinner 'that sounds like Minty'. The meal and evening continued, then when nearly everyone had gone to bed, except me as I was doing the 11.30 pm mother thing - cleaning up and stacking the dishwasher. I heard a whimper at the back door and there was Minty - looking very scared but pleased with himself to be home.
He lived with us for another 14 years without jumping any more fences or taking any unplanned holidays.
