We were going away for a week and wanted our dogs to enjoy their time away from home as much as we were. We chose Akuna Care because it had such a nice feel to it and we wanted our dogs to receive individual attention like they do at home.

We definitely enjoy not having to worry about our dogs when we leave them at Akuna Care. If we left them anywhere else we would spend half our holiday worrying. We also enjoy the friendly service and hearing about how our dogs have been while at Akuna Care for their holiday.

When our Golden Retriever pup Valli was about nine weeks old she managed to crawl inside our mattress base. It was only when we heard her whimper that we jumped out of bed and looked under the bed but we initially could not see her. It was only after a few seconds that we saw the bulge hanging from the base. We ripped open the fabric and little Val came tumbling out for her second birth.
